Since graduation from High School, I got a B.A from Valparaiso University in Indiana. I spent a summer improving my Spanish (was a Spanish major in college) at the main University in Mexico City.
I worked in social services in both Ventura County and San Diego county for many years. During that time, I went on to get my Masters in Biblical Studies from a seminary in Dallas, Texas.
I married my husband in San Diego in Nov. of 1987, and in Jan. of 1997 we moved to the Island of Borneo, E. Malaysia, where some of my husband's brothers have settled down. (He is from the main part of Malaysia -- suburb of Kuala Lumpur.) I met him at a mission's prayer meeting he was leading, in S.D.
We are here in Borneo basically serving the Lord. One of my husband's brothers is a church planter on palm oil plantations and a businessman.
I do Bible Studies, including in the Malay language, Christian counselling, and am just finishing writing a book called "Joyful Abiding," which I hope will be published this month or next.
End of 2019, I also started an outreach to the 3,000 illegals who live and eat from the Dump site not far from where we live.
We do not have children.
I think this is all.
